About Mrs. Ashley
I was born in Hilton Head Island, SC and moved to North Carolina when I was a toddler. My father is Japanese and my mother is English. They both own a restaurant on Franklin St. called Kurama Sushi and Noodle Express. I worked there during my high school years up until I started working here at Harvest.
I have wanted to work with kids ever since I was a kid! When I was a child, I would play “Teacher” with my oldest sister and would tell her to be the student and I would be the teacher.
I love working here and building relationships with the children and the parents. This job is so rewarding. My favorite part is seeing the babies I take care of reach milestones and grow. From feeding them bottles in the infant room to being able to have a full conversation with them as a preschooler, it is the best feeling in the world.
